Euphorbia ingens, candlestick tree
The candlestick tree is the common name of Euphorbia ingens and Euphorbia candelabrum. In fact, the two are the same species of plants (explanations below). Properties
Candlestick trees are succulent trees that grow in their natural environment, usually around 6-8 meters, up to 15 meters. The main body develops like candlestick by creating side bodies. The local names given to them are usually candlestick trees. The white sap of the candlestick tree, which looks like milk, is so poisonous that even plant lice do not interfere. Small greenish yellow flowers bloom between autumn and winter.

They can be quite large trees in their homeland.
Habitat
Euphorbia ingens belongs to various regions dominated by tropical and subtropical climates in the central and eastern parts of the southern part of Africa. Up to 1600m above sea level, it is seen mostly in rocky and sandy areas in non-wet areas and semi-savannah areas.
Euphorbia candelabrum is introduced as a separate species in some sources, but is a variety or cultivar of E. ingens. It is mentioned in a source as the cultivar called Ghost (Euphorbia ingens 'Ghost'). But since they are in very remote geographies, it is more likely that they are diverse, not cultivars. Its homeland is circa Kenya and Sudan. Another variety (Ammak) of E. ingens is found in Saudi Arabia and Yemen. And he is introduced as a separate species by the name of amuphorbia, since the scientific research required for him is not done completely.

Use
While it is a small sapling, it is incomparably similar to American desert cacti called cowboy cactus. It is used in interiors and gardens as a decoration element. As it is more compatible with real desert cacti in indoor cultivation, it has now taken their place in indoor use: it is certain that it is branched and knotted like candlestick and does not deform like cacti in sun deficiency. It can be grown outdoors in gardens only where frost events are rare and very mild in winter. How to grow a candlestick tree (Euphorbia ingens)?
You should take the side branches by cutting them from the place where they meet the main branch. There should be absolutely no injuries, no splitting when cutting.
